The technology of today is no doubt advancing rapidly. There are so many new gadgets and gizmos revealed daily it can be hard to keep up with them all.
This is an article about the ones that are sure to be the thing to have in 2018 and the years to come.
The Tesla Generator
This topic alone could easily take the entire article to write about. The subject of free energy is not a dream anymore. Kids are assembling these things at home with parts from places like "Radio Shack" and "Ace Hardware" to name a couple.
That means they are inexpensive to build a relatively large one. There are much news online about this.
Needless to say the implications here are huge. Free power for life. Period. This is not "new" tech however. Thus the term "Tesla" in the name. The reason for it's much delayed reveal to the public is because well, money of course.
There was an enormous investment in the copper wire method (which we still use today) of distributing and metering our energy use.
This of course would have effectively ended the campaign for copper wire power distribution. And the (unnamed here) people with far more money than the brilliant Tesla quickly bought up the patents and made sure they vanished. Just think of how many things use electricity that we have to pay for. Nikola Tesla wanted to make it possible for every home worldwide to have free energy.
Wars would be far less common as well if nobody had to pay for energy. Think about it.
Alright I will not go on about this one any longer let's move on to the next gotta have it item on the list.
Virtual Reality
Video games are quickly becoming a very prominent format of entertainment today. Arguably more than the film industry in some ways. With the invention of V.R. technology that actually functions as intended it feels like the "future" is more rapidly becoming the now. With the "Oculus Rift" and the "Playstation 4's" new tech dubbed "Project Morpheus" putting on some amazing displays of depth and interaction. This truly is an experience to be had at least once by everyone.
The total immersion in a beautifully realized and detailed world is an astounding thing to experience. The PS4 version of the new technology looks quite a bit more compact than the Oculus. One can assume that this makes the latter of the two heavier and more cumbersome than natural feeling.
Either way you play it is sure to be an incredible experience that you cannot find any place else. The best part of all is that it will be in the comfort of our own homes and sofas. Not some tech demo.
Foldable Smartphones
This invention is one that is most assuredly going to be in the pockets of anybody who has a smartphone. An official from "Samsung Display" made a statement claiming that fold-able smartphones are coming in 2018. This will no doubt lead to this kind of tech bleeding into anything with a screen. Can someone say fold up tablets? Or how about a folding laptop that can literally fit into you pocket?
"Mind, Blown."
The sheer slimness of these phones make them look as if they are fake or a toy. you can literally roll them up like paper! These are amazing times and this is just a few of the amazing must have experiences and devices coming to us in 2018. I really can't wait.
